World AIDS Day Commemorations
READY UPDATES FROM MOZAMBIQUE
The Government of Mozambique hosted a special ceremony on December 1 to commemorate World AIDS Day, and READY+ was honoured as an invitee. The event provided an engaging platform for young people to participate in various activities, including HIV testing services, holistic health check-ups, and counselling sessions.
The Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS) also took time to reflect on the year’s activities, sharing moments of connection and celebration. During these reflections, the individual progress of each CATS member was reviewed, showcasing their personal and professional growth over the year. Their achievements were acknowledged and celebrated, reinforcing their commitment to continuing their impactful work in supporting young people within the community.
